Finished and IT WORKED!!

Heres the sock with the lifeline in it still. Just finished it tonight.

I only had enough in my 50g ball to go a tiny way and then do ribbing.
I would have had problems doing this in the usual way as the leg is still short using 50g per sock. It really is thick wool though, will definitely keep my feet warm.
I'm wondering whether to give these to my niece though as she has slimmer legs than me. As I cast off at the cuff I kept in pattern ( K2, P2 ) but it is still tight. I can only just get them over my ankle.
I will have to look out the last cuff cast off I did....seem to remember that I did it with a needle.

I will do this again though as it does take away the worry about having enough wool.
