My needles have arrived from China and I fully understand now why everyone raves about bamboo. I changed needles for the Montego Bay scarf from metal ones and what a difference it made. The metal seemed to keep hold of the silk ( yes, this is my different project for the frogged sock silk ), on the bamboo they just slide with ease but not too slippy.
This is a gorgeous scarf to do, very easy to remember the pattern and grows so quick. My only gripe is I wish I'd used bigger needles than the 5mm I've used.
