Here is the pattern for 'Bubbles' for everyone who has shown interest.
I hope you enjoy it, it is a simple but effective pattern. All stitches are in UK terminology, there are only 3 different ones, chain, double crochet and treble.
I have done the initial chain with a larger hook but feel free to use whatever hooks you like.
Bubbles...
With 5mm hook, Chain 27 after this use the 4.5mm
Row 1/ 1 dc into 2nd chain from hook, dc across to end , turn
Row 2/ 1ch, 1 dc into each of first 2 dc *5ch, skip 2 dc, 1dc into each of next 3 dc* repeat with only 2 dc at end of row, turn
Row 3/ 1ch, 1dc into first dc * 5dc into next 5ch arch, skip 1dc, 1dc into next
dc* repeat to end, turn.
Row 4/ 5ch, skip first 2dc, 1dc into each of next 3dc * 5ch, skip 3dc,
1dc into each of next 3dc* repeat to last 2 stitches, 2ch, 1 treble into
last dc. turn
Row 5/ 1ch, 1dc into first treble, 2dc into 2ch space, skip 1dc, 1dc into next
dc, * 5dc into next 5ch arch, skip 1dc, 1dc into next dc* repeat to last 2ch
space. 2dc into last space, 1dc into 4th chain of previous row. turn
Row 6/ 1ch, 1dc into each of first 2dc, * 5ch, skip 3dc, 1dc into each of next 3dc*
