Spinning.

Here is the plyed spinning from an earlier post. The darker skein is Jacob and the lighter one is Ryeland. It is almost impossible to get a good photo of the subtle colour changes in these skeins. They have an almost tweedy, heathery look to them.
I am really pleased with them, I managed to spin abit more consistantly than I do on the wheel.



I did ply them on the wheel, each from a centre pull ball.

The Jacob is 27g and 72 yards/65 meters. If I had spun 100g consistantly at this I should have got about 266 yards. It works out at about 18wpi.
The Ryeland is 14g and 36 yards/32 meters, consistant spinning over 100g would give me about 257 yards. This works out at about 13wpi.
