The magic of reskeining.

This is one of the four skeins I have dyed today.
I painted bits of the skein in red and then microwaved in a lilac dyebath. I am very pleased with how this has turned out.
It's Shetland wool, same weight but feels a little heavier than the Merino or BFL.
This just shows the difference once they are reskeined and all the colours blend together. I place it on my swift and then wind it into a centre pull ball. This also helps me to check that there are no white patches anywhere. I then rewind it onto the Niddy Noddy and 'magic' happens.

Somehow I seem to have ordered another 10 balls of BFL and 10 balls of Merino to dye that were delivered today.
