Halfway there.

I LOVE this mitten so much.

I keep putting it on and looking at it from different angles and saying ' hey, aren't I clever '.

Just in case you are wondering, yes, I have cast on for mitten number 2.

I have also cast on for Camilla, also by Spillyjaneknits on ravelry.

With heathers Mittens I had to go up from a 2mm to a 2.5mm for a fit.

It is possibly a little too big but I'm quite happy with it that way.

Camilla should be done on a 2.25mm so I started again with 2.5mm.

When I got 2 pattern repeats in I began wondering if a 2.5mm might make these a little snugger than I prefer. It fits well on my wrist but I was worried it might be too snug round the fingers and tight on the thumb, I like to be able to move my fingers.

I started pattern repeat 3 with 2.75mm, hoping that it would just make it slightly larger and not distort the pattern at all. I'm 5 rows in now and my plan seems to be working.
