Boy8 has requested a scarf ( or a cowl ) and chosen these colours.
The grey and maroon are his school colours so it will look lovely with his uniform and school coat.
I took it to knitting group last night and cast on.
26 stitches on 4.5mm needles so its going quite fast, as its just garter stitch its pretty mindless knitting.
It does feel strange to be knitting on straight needles though, I am so used to using double pointed or circulars.
I have alot of handspun that I am thinking could look nice as plain garter stitch scarves.
