My lovely postman has been....

Yipee!!!!!
I am so excited.
At the top is 500g of undyed wool just waiting for me to dye it.
The bottom picture is a Kool Aid kit I've bought from www.dtcrafts.co.uk so I can have a go properly with instructions.
It seems easy enough....famous last words!

I am just itching to have a go at this. I am going to be sensible though ( unheard of for me ). I am going to start with the 50g that came with the Kool Aid kit rather than jump straight in with 100g.
I am excited and more than a little apprehensive about all this as I have seen some lovely dyeing done on other peoples blogs and knitting forums ( I want mine to look like theirs ). I will take piccies throughout to show my success or failure.

The idea behind this was so I can make beautiful socks in a colourway I want cheaper than buying the yarn already dyed. I hope I haven't made a great mistake.
As usual the great british waether is back.....raining. I think we have had 2 dry days since the beginning of June. My wool will now take even longer to dry.
