Fawkes sock.

Here is the first Fawkes sock completed. The first sock I have followed an actual pattern for.
I learnt to do a heel differently!!!
I must say I really enjoyed doing this and I now plan to do more socks from patterns. I already have my eye on Saucy socks and Elphines.
This is knitted in 4 ply acrylic that I had in stash. As the pattern is supposed to represent the phoenix rising from the ashes with the flame design I thought this could be a good colour choice as it is greay and lilac so looks abit like ash.
I am going to cast on for the second one straight away.
