Crocheted this in stylecraft acrylic. I wanted to make sure I could do the pattern before attempting with 'good' yarn.
I have some lovely light pink cotton that I might try it in next.

I used all my stash of bright orange which was 300g. The shawl is a very impressive 29" down the centre back and 62" across the top. As this is crocheted from the centre downwards it can be extended to any size.

Pretty! I love that pattern - it's great with sock yarn too; it self-patterns and is thinner but still warm.
