Recycled yarn.

Yesterday I spent a lovely day in the garage with a friend. I was dyeing and she was knitting.
A while ago I bought a jumper from a charity shop, Ruth frogged it for me, she likes doing it and finds it relaxing I just get annoyed. We had thought that the wool was kinked from being knitted before but I now think it is supposed to be that way as no kinks fell out.
I skeined it up yesterday and dyed it with sugarflair cake dyes.
The colours were alot brighter before I steamed it but I like the muted effect.
This one we have named raspberry ripple. I am hoping to get thick socks from it.

Here it is re skeined. It looks so much better.( although my camera skills are so bad!)

This is autumn, a mix of beige, green and peach.

This is beachside, a mix of blue and yellow.

3 lots of wool from a £3 jumper. All the skeins are approx 130g.
