We went away...

...and we went here...Ribby Hall Hotel.
We decided that as things have been so stressful around here lately that we needed to get away and relax. As it is school time we could only fit in one night but we all came back feeling a little bit better.

Ribby Hall is a complex with a hotel and bungalow type lodges you can rent out. On site there are lots of eating places, coffee shops, playgrounds and sporting facilities.
We took advantage of the childrens pool with the water slides.

This is the tree house, it is lovely and unfortunately you can't stay here, it's for conferences.

This was our room, with en suite shower room.

This was the kids twin room.

This was the view from one of the windows from the suite. There were 5 windows altogether, all of them overlooking the duckpond.

We had a fantastic stay, the suite was fantastic. Tv's in all bedrooms and the lounge area. We had a continental breakfast delivered to the room. Yoghurts, cereals, warm bread rolls with little pots of jam, it was great to be pampered, even if it was just one night.

The staff were great too, always talking to the kids and really happy and friendly. We loved it.
